Villa La Calcinaia start from an idea of Angiolo Pasqui’s dream of transforming an ancient 19th century rustic farmhouse into a unique location, just like its unique position on the hills overlooking the Arezzo and Siena Chianti.
A window that opens onto a breathtaking view of the beauty of a natural landscape typical of the Tuscan countryside. This dream then turned into a project that involved the entire family, in particular the daughters Laura and Lucia.

The name Villa La Calcinaia derives from the place where it stands, but today it also represents the hard work of masonry and design that over time has made this structure one of a kind. A combination of rusticity and modernity, a warm and welcoming environment equipped with all the comforts of home automation, which make this residence an autonomous and technologically advanced farmhouse. Today, Laura and Lucia dedicate this magical place with all their hearts to their father, Angiolo, and to his dream.

Between History and Dream

The recovery of the ancient structures involved local artisans and workers to preserve the charm of the past. A constant commitment to the maintenance and recovery of the ruins of the countryside, for a positive contribution to the quality of the landscape.

The Villa today

Angiolo Pasqui starts an important recovery work on the Villa which has been completely renovated giving value to the surrounding nature. A path that continues today thanks to the love and dedication of his daughters Laura and Lucia, capable of transforming their father's dream into reality.

Calcinaia is located at the crossroads between the cities of Arezzo, Siena and Florence. From here it is possible to easily visit all the most beautiful, historic and characteristic villages of Tuscany from Monteriggioni, Cortona, Pienza, Sangimigniano, Montalcino.
